Tottenham Close in on Xavi Simons as Chelsea’s Nkunku Nears AC Milan Move

RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons is on the verge of joining Tottenham Hotspur, with a medical now imminent after the Premier League club agreed a €60 million fee for the Dutch playmaker, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The agreement sees Spurs win the race for Simons, ahead of London rivals Chelsea, who were also keen to secure the 21-year-old’s services this summer.
In a separate transfer development, Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku has landed in Italy to complete his move to Serie A powerhouse AC Milan.
Sky Italy reports that the French international is scheduled to undergo his medical with Milan today. The transfer agreement between Chelsea and AC Milan is understood to be worth over £36 million, with Nkunku set to make the switch to San Siro before the window closes.
