Tinubu presides over FEC meeting at Villa

President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council meeting at the Presidential Villa Abuja.

The meeting which started at noon is expected to make decisions concerning key sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Before the meeting commenced, the council observed a minute’s silence in honour of a deceased former member and former Deputy Governor of the Old Sokoto State, Ahmed Gusua who died on May 25, 2024.

The ongoing FEC meeting follows last Wednesday’s decision to step down a memorandum for several key projects domiciled in the Federal Ministry of Works.

The meeting has in attendance a majority of the Ministers who make up the cabinet members.
