Popular Nigerian TikTok creator Peller has issued a public apology following a series of controversies that stirred backlash online.
In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, Peller admitted that his online persona often differs from his real-life character and promised to be more mindful in the future.
“If you know I have offended you before, please forgive me. I promise to be on my best behaviour this time,” he wrote. “I don’t mean most things I do online. I am more than a good boy in reality. You guys should handle me with care.”
The apology comes on the heels of several incidents, including false kidnapping rumours and criticism over his remarks about trending social media challenges.
Despite the controversies, Peller urged his fans to treat him with kindness, stressing that he wants to make things right.
