Taylor Swift Breaks Spotify Record Ahead of The Life of a Showgirl Album Release
Her 12th studio album becomes the most pre-saved project in Spotify Countdown history ahead of its October 3 launch.

American pop star Taylor Swift has broken another streaming record with her forthcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl.
Spotify announced on Sunday that the project has become the most pre-saved album Countdown Page in the platform’s history.
“On August 31, 2025, Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl became the most pre-saved album Countdown Page in Spotify history,” the company confirmed via Instagram, calling it yet another career milestone for the Grammy-winning singer.
Swift first teased her 12th studio album earlier in August during an appearance on New Heights, the podcast hosted by NFL brothers Travis and Jason Kelce.
Recorded across Europe during stops on her global Eras Tour, the album is slated for release on October 3, 2025.
Since the announcement, anticipation has soared among fans, with the pre-save numbers on Spotify reaching historic levels even before the official release date.
Swift’s latest achievement comes on the heels of a whirlwind year that has included her continued dominance on global music charts and heightened media buzz surrounding her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce.
