Celebrated Nigerian gospel artist, Shola Allyson, has officially joined the roster of Sony Music Publishing Nigeria.
The global music publishing giant announced the signing in an Instagram post on Friday evening, stating, “We are happy to announce that the legendary Shola Allyson is joining the SMP (Sony Music Publishing) family.”
Shola Allyson also confirmed the news in a heartfelt video shared with her fans. “Hello everyone, my name is Shola Allyson. I’m so excited, grateful, happy—just full of all the good feelings—to announce my new signing with Sony Music Publishing Nigeria,” she said.
Looking ahead with optimism, she added, “I’m looking forward to even greater things. Yes, great things have happened before, but I believe this new chapter will bring fresh opportunities and exciting collaborations.”
This development comes just a week after Sony Music Publishing Nigeria welcomed legendary highlife icon Bright Chimezie to its growing roster, signaling the label’s continued investment in Nigeria’s diverse musical talent.
