Skales Credits God for His Talent and Career Success
The singer says divine mercy and grace have sustained him through industry challenges and personal trials.
Nigerian singer Skales has expressed profound gratitude to God, describing his musical talent and career achievements as divine blessings.
In a heartfelt post on X, the artist credited his success to grace and mercy, noting that despite betrayals and challenges in the industry, his faith has remained unshaken.
“If you like believe in God if you like don’t that’s your business… if I attribute any of my wins to God that’s cos it is God I believe in and it has been his grace and mercy that has seen me through all kinds of crazy things… God gave me what I dish out, this talent I have & what helps , & whoever HE chooses to use as a vessel to bless me … no one can share his glory. He deserves my praise and my worship,” he wrote.
Skales, who previously released God Is Good from his Healing Process EP, has often cited faith as his anchor, especially in overcoming disappointments and disloyalty within the music scene.
In March 2025, he revealed that some industry colleagues he had supported turned against him, but he emphasized that “God never failed.” He added that his late mother’s words of encouragement continue to inspire his resilience.
Encouraging his fans, the singer urged them to keep trusting in God, insisting that his journey is proof of divine faithfulness.
