Kwara United’s technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, has voiced his frustration following his team’s narrow 1-0 home defeat to Bendel Insurance. The Harmony Boys were undone by a first-half strike from Kayode Oke at the Rashidi Yekini Main Bowl, George Innih Stadium, Ilorin, on Sunday.
The defeat marks another setback for Kwara United, who have now secured just one win in their last five league outings. Sanni attributed the poor run to a string of unfortunate events on the pitch.
“It’s painful to lose at home again,” Sanni remarked in a post-match interview. “We’re experiencing hard luck lately, and it’s frustrating.”
Kwara United currently sit in 11th place on the league table with 43 points.
