Ronaldo Wins Second Straight Saudi Golden Boot with 35 Goals

Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has secured the Golden Boot in the Saudi Pro League for the second consecutive season.
The Portuguese star found the net once more in Al Nassr’s final game of the season—a 3-2 defeat to Al Fateh. That goal brought his league total to 35 for the 2023-24 campaign.
Overall, the 40-year-old scored 35 goals in all competitions this season, underlining his remarkable consistency and goal-scoring prowess.
Ronaldo finished the season two goals ahead of Al Ahli forward Ivan Toney, who netted 23 goals in his impressive debut season in Saudi Arabia.
His former Real Madrid teammate, Karim Benzema, recorded 21 goals for Al-Ittihad, the newly crowned league champions, while Al Shabab’s Abderrazak Hamdallah also ended the campaign with 21 goals.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner continues to defy age, leading the scoring charts once again in a highly competitive league.
