Controversial street pop artiste Portable has disclosed that he received N40 million for agreeing to step into the ring with popular streamer Carter Efe.
The singer made the revelation in a video posted on his Instagram page, stating that the payment was made by the organisers as confirmation of his readiness to participate in the boxing bout.
According to Portable, the N40 million was paid upfront simply for accepting the fight.
“I have received N40 million from the organisers. They paid me the money just for accepting to fight Carter Efe. I’m very sure that I will defeat him,” he said.
He further claimed that music executive Soso Soberekon and businessman E-Money have each pledged N50 million and a car if he emerges victorious.
Carter Efe has also publicly confirmed his willingness to take part in the bout. In a separate video shared on his page, the streamer urged organisers to announce a date for the match.
The proposed fight has sparked conversations online, with fans awaiting further details about the venue and official schedule.
