On Sunday, April 13, 2025, Nigerian street-hop sensation Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely known by his stage name Portable, was arrested by the Kwara State Police Command. The arrest came in response to a formal petition by renowned Fuji musician Saheed Osupa, who accused Portable of making defamatory statements, issuing threats, and engaging in behavior considered disruptive to public peace. The police, acting on the strength of the allegations and supporting evidence, obtained a valid arrest warrant from a Magistrate Court in Ilorin before taking the singer into custody in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
