Peter Olayinka Returns to Training After Long-Term Injury Layoff

Red Star Belgrade striker Peter Olayinka has resumed training following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to a serious knee injury.
The Nigerian international suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during Red Star’s UEFA Champions League encounter against Monaco in October 2024.
Now on the road to recovery, the 29-year-old shared a photo from the team’s training ground on social media, captioned, “Strong and free,” signaling his positive mindset and return to fitness.
Olayinka will be aiming to feature again before the end of the current season, as he steps up his recovery.
Before the injury setback, he had made six league appearances, scoring twice and providing two assists. The forward joined the Serbian giants last summer from Czech outfit Slavia Prague, where he enjoyed a prolific spell.
