Ace rapper and music executive Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide Baddo, has revealed that he is currently focusing on self-prioritization.
In a recent interview with Flow 98.7 FM, the YBNL boss explained that while he has spent much of his career helping others rise in the music industry, he is now dedicating his energy to his own well-being.
“Right now, I’m at the phase in my life where I’m really trying to give myself undivided attention,” Olamide said. “All my life I’ve been trying to be there for people and also trying to do my stuff. But right now, I’m really just trying to focus on myself 100 percent.”
Olamide has been instrumental in bringing numerous artists to fame through his imprint, YBNL, including Lil Kesh, Young John, Pheelz, Fireboy DML, Lyta, Asake, and Adekunle Gold. He has also given many emerging talents breakthroughs through collaborations and features, working with Zlatan Ibile, Naira Marley, Portable, Bella Shmurda, and others.
Despite stepping back to focus on himself, Olamide’s impact on the Nigerian music scene remains undeniable, solidifying his legacy as a mentor and powerhouse in the industry.
