Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) top scorer Anas Yusuf has finalized a move to Tanzanian Premier League club Tabora United.
The prolific striker joins from Nasarawa United after an outstanding season in which he netted 18 goals, finishing as the league’s top scorer. His contributions were crucial in helping Nasarawa United avoid relegation.
Yusuf, 27, is currently in camp with Nigeria’s Super Eagles B team ahead of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will be held from August 2 to 30, 2025. The tournament is set to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
This move marks a significant step in Yusuf’s career as he ventures into East African football for the first time.
