NPFL Demands Urgent Upgrades for Kano Pillars, Barau FC, and Abia Warriors’ Home Grounds

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has issued a directive requiring Kano Pillars, Barau FC, and Abia Warriors to improve the facilities at their respective home stadiums.Currently, Kano Pillars and Barau FC host their matches at the Sani Abacha Stadium, while Abia Warriors play at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
The league insists that significant upgrades must be made to the pitches and dressing rooms at these venues to meet NPFL standards.
In addition, the clubs have been instructed to enhance the technical benches and floodlighting systems.
The NPFL has warned that failure to comply with these requirements may result in the affected teams being compelled to hold their home fixtures at neutral venues.
This announcement comes ahead of matchday two fixtures scheduled for this weekend.
