Galatasaray insider Kaya Temel has dismissed speculation of tension between Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi, insisting the two strikers share a good relationship.
Rumours of a rift surfaced after statistics showed that Osimhen and Icardi have failed to create a goal for each other in their seven appearances together. However, Temel revealed that reliable sources at Galatasaray’s Kemerburgaz training facility confirm there is no animosity.
“People like to create chaos where there isn’t any,” Temel told habersarikirmizi. “My sources say there’s no problem between Osimhen and Icardi; they joke around before every training session.”
Icardi joined the Turkish giants in September 2022, while Osimhen arrived during the 2025 summer transfer window. The Nigerian forward is currently sidelined with an ankle injury, missing Galatasaray’s last three matches in all competitions.
