NLO Expels Campos FC and A&A Kiviasennus Over Match-Fixing Allegation

The Nationwide League One (NLO) has expelled Campos FC and A&A Kiviasennus from the division following allegations of match fixing.
In addition to the expulsion, the league body has suspended all players from both teams due to suspicions of match manipulation. Match officials who officiated the game have also been suspended.
The controversy stems from a matchday six fixture in which Campos FC defeated A&A Kiviasennus 15-2 at the Awka City Stadium — a result that drew immediate public scrutiny and prompted an investigation.
The NLO’s disciplinary committee has since nullified the result of the match.
“The players and officials of the two clubs, Campos FC and A&A, have therefore been suspended indefinitely pending final ratification by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF),” said NLO Chief Operating Officer, Olushola Ogunnowo, in an official memo.
