Nkechi Blessing Relieved After Ceiling Collapse Scare in Lekki Home
The Nollywood actress shared a video of the near accident, saying the falling ceiling almost damaged her newly purchased car.
Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has shared her shock after a section of the POP ceiling in her Lekki residence suddenly collapsed.
The actress posted a video on Instagram on Tuesday, recounting how the incident could have ended in serious damage. She explained that the ceiling caved in just a few feet away from where her newly purchased car is usually parked.
Expressing her relief, she noted that neither the car nor her home’s interior was affected.
“Thank God it didn’t fall inside the house, and my new car wasn’t parked there,” she said in the video, before voicing her frustration at property developers in the upscale Lagos district.
The actress added that she had never experienced such an occurrence before and thanked God for sparing her from what could have been a costly mishap.
The incident adds to growing concerns over building quality and safety in parts of Lekki, an area known for its rapid real estate development.
