Nigerian Army Neutralises 21 Bandits in Major Operation in Katsina

The Nigerian Army has eliminated 21 bandits during a coordinated operation in Shawu Forest, Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State, as part of Operation Forest Sanity III.

In a statement on Saturday, Katsina State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Nasiru Mu’azu Danmusa, said troops from the 17 Brigade Strike Group launched the offensive on May 23, storming terrorist enclaves and engaging the criminals in a fierce gun battle.
