Nigeria, Gabon Set for World Cup Playoff Showdown in Rabat on November 13

The Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, Morocco, has been confirmed as the venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff semi-final clash between Nigeria and Gabon.

The 22,000-capacity stadium, regarded as one of Morocco’s best football arenas, will host the much-anticipated encounter on Thursday, November 13.

The fixture marks the ninth meeting between both nations and the fifth in World Cup qualifying history. The Super Eagles boast a superior head-to-head record, with five wins, two draws, and one defeat against the Panthers of Gabon.

In the other semi-final, Cameroon will face the Democratic Republic of Congo as the race for World Cup qualification intensifies across Africa.
