
The Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has approved the extension of the tenures of the current boards of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Nigeria National League (NNL) and Nationwide League One (NLO) until September 29, 2026.
The extension aligns with the expiration of the current NFF administration led by Ibrahim Musa Gusau (MON).
Originally appointed on July 1, 2023, for a two-year term ending June 30, 2025, the boards are chaired by Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye (NPFL), Chief George Aluo (NNL), and HE Silas Ali Agara (NLO).
The NFF commended their performance over the past two years and urged them to intensify efforts in enhancing the quality and competitiveness of their respective leagues.
Meanwhile, a decision regarding the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) board, led by Nkechi Nneka Obi, has been postponed to a later date.
