“My Mind Is Messed Up” – VeryDarkMan Breaks Silence After Disappearance Concerns Raised by Brother

Controversial social media critic, VeryDarkMan, has finally addressed growing concerns about his sudden absence from the public eye, days after his elder brother, Mark Otse, called for prayers on his behalf.
VeryDarkMan had gone silent on social media for over two days, sparking speculation and worry among his followers. On Sunday morning, Mark took to Instagram with a heartfelt plea, urging Nigerians to pray for his brother.
In the emotional video, Mark said:
“Good morning, everyone. I’m not here to say much. All I ask is that you pray for VeryDarkMan. He hasn’t posted for two days now. Many of you have been asking, ‘Where is VeryDarkMan?’ The truth is, I don’t know how to say this. It’s really difficult.”
His message only deepened public concern, prompting speculation about VeryDarkMan’s well-being.
Breaking his silence hours later, VeryDarkMan explained that his silence was not due to personal issues, but the emotional toll caused by the ongoing violence between herdsmen and farmers in parts of Nigeria.
In a candid message shared on social media, he said:
“I really wish everyone could understand. I haven’t been able to post in the last few hours because my mind is still f*cked. The killings involving herdsmen and farmers are overwhelming. For the past five days, I haven’t been able to sleep. I’ve been researching, asking questions, trying to understand the real problem — and it’s been mentally draining.”
He continued, “The killings in Benue didn’t start today. The Plateau violence didn’t start today. This has been going on for 10 to 15 years — same pattern, same response: protests, visits from security chiefs, empty promises. Everything repeats. So the question isn’t when does it stop, but how does it stop?”
“Governments have made gains, but the losses keep piling up. My mind is a mess — filled with thoughts I can’t even explain. Anyway, I don’t want to ruin your Sunday with my worries. Happy Sunday, my people.”
While fans may be relieved to hear from him, VeryDarkMan’s message underscores the emotional burden that national crises can have — even on those who make a living speaking out.
