Kano Pillars striker Ahmed Musa has expressed his joy at rejoining the Super Eagles squad.
Musa, who has been absent from the national team setup since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations held in Côte d’Ivoire, is currently in London with the Super Eagles for the Unity Cup invitational tournament.
In a video shared on Nigeria Football Federation’s NFF TV, the 31-year-old shared his excitement: “I’m always happy whenever I get the call-up, so I’m very happy to be back,” he said.
“It has been a long time, but I don’t think there’s any difference. We’ll just wait and see what happens on match day.”
The Super Eagles are set to take on long-time rivals Ghana in a friendly match at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford, London, on Wednesday.
