Lagos LG Polls: APC Confident of Sweeping All Seats — Party Spokesman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has expressed strong confidence that the party will win all chairmanship and councillorship seats in Saturday’s local government elections across the state.

Speaking with journalists in Agege, the party’s spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, said the APC’s anticipated victory was based on its track record of performance at the local, state, and federal levels.

According to Oladejo, the party faces no serious opposition in the state, describing rival parties as “almost non-existent.”

“There is no doubt about APC’s victory; the focus now is on how massive the turnout will be. This local government election is a strategic step towards 2027,” he said.

Oladejo added that the APC is confident of winning in all 57 local government areas, emphasizing that the party remains the preferred choice for Lagosians.

“Aside from our performance across all levels of government, there really is no viable alternative to the APC in Lagos,” he asserted.

While noting that the electoral process had been peaceful, Oladejo acknowledged that voter turnout could be better. He, however, said there was visible enthusiasm among the electorate to fulfil their civic duty.

He urged eligible voters to come out in greater numbers to elect chairmen and councillors of their choice, reinforcing the party’s appeal for broad-based participation in the democratic process.
