Juventus Plot Summer Swoop for Nigerian Duo Osimhen and Lookman

Juventus are reportedly eyeing a double swoop for Nigerian stars Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman as part of a major attacking overhaul ahead of the 2025/26 season, citing Italian outlet Tuttosport and 1win.

The Bianconeri have placed the Super Eagles forwards at the top of their transfer wishlist. Growing uncertainty around current strikers Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani prompts the need for reinforcements up front.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, is expected to leave the Serie A champions at the end of the campaign. With a €75m release clause for non-Italian clubs, Juventus would need to navigate significant financial hurdles to secure the prolific striker’s signature.

Meanwhile, Lookman has continued to impress at Atalanta, where his pace, flair, and tactical intelligence have made him one of the league’s standout performers. Juventus see the former RB Leipzig and Everton winger as a perfect fit for incoming coach Thiago Motta’s attacking system. Atalanta is reportedly demanding a fee of around €60 million for the 26-year-old.

Both players have delivered consistent performances this season and are among Africa’s top footballing exports, having claimed back-to-back African Footballer of the Year honours. Their potential arrival would signal a bold statement of intent from Juventus as they seek to rebuild their offensive firepower.

Although no formal bids have been submitted, internal discussions are ongoing at Juventus headquarters as the club strategises its approach to negotiations. While Manchester United’s Rasmus Højlund has also been linked, the Italian giants are expected to limit their attacking additions to just two, with Osimhen and Lookman currently leading the shortlist.
