
Gombe United have officially confirmed a change of date for their Nigeria National League (NNL) Matchday Five fixture against Kebbi United, as part of ongoing fixture adjustments in the league.
The encounter, which was originally scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, will now be played a day later on Thursday, 11 December 2025. The match is set to hold at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe.
The Savannah Scorpions made this announcement through a formal statement issued by the club’s Media Director, Shuaibu Muhammad Angazy, on Tuesday. In the statement, the club expressed regret over any inconvenience the change in date may cause to fans and stakeholders.
No official reason was given for the alteration of the fixture.
In a related development, the Nigeria National League (NNL) also confirmed further adjustments involving other matches in Conferences C and D.
The fixture between Kada Warriors and Mighty Jets has likewise been moved to Thursday, 11 December 2025, from its originally scheduled date.
Additionally, the matches involving Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC versus Kada Warriors and Bichi First against Gombe United, which were initially fixed for Saturday, 13 December 2025, will now be played on Sunday, 14 December 2025.
These changes form part of the NNL’s wider fixture restructuring aimed at ensuring smoother league operations and better coordination of match schedules across the divisions.
