Ganduje’s Resignation: Dalori Presides Over APC NEC In Abuja

Following the resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as APC National Chairman on health grounds, Ali Bukar Dalori has assumed the role of Acting National Chairman.

Dalori, who previously served as Deputy National Chairman (North), presided over a crucial National Working Committee (NWC) meeting at the party’s Abuja Secretariat on Monday . 

In his opening remarks, Dalori thanked Ganduje for his dedicated service and vowed to foster inclusivity and unity within the party.

He emphasized the importance of rebuilding party structures and coordinating grassroots efforts ahead of the 2027 elections . 

The APC governors’ forum viewed Ganduje’s resignation as a strategic evolution for the party, paving the way for fresh leadership.

Plans were also announced to convene a broader National Executive Committee meeting on July 24, 2025, to formally appoint a new national chairman . 

Dalori urged party members to remain focused on delivering good governance and reinforcing the APC’s democratic principles, signaling a proactive effort to stabilize the party’s internal administration
