Galatasaray Renew Osimhen Talks as Gyökeres Strikes and Nottingham Forest Challenge Spurs Transfer

Turkish giants Galatasaray have resumed negotiations with Napoli regarding the signing of Victor Osimhen.
Italian football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Galatasaray submitted a new offer to Napoli on Friday. The proposal reportedly includes a €70 million fee backed by bank guarantees for the payment installments. The decision now rests with the Italian club.
Meanwhile, Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres has continued his strike in protest against his current club. According to Romano, the forward will refuse to attend training at Sporting for the entire summer.
“His decision is clear as reported during the week, he only wants Arsenal, it’s over with Sporting,” Romano posted on X.
Gyökeres reportedly informed Sporting’s president five days ago about his desire to join the Premier League side Arsenal.
In a separate development, Nottingham Forest have lodged a complaint with the Premier League regarding Morgan Gibbs-White’s transfer to Tottenham Hotspur. As reported by Sky Sports, Nottingham Forest are considering potential legal action, believing that Spurs made an illegal approach to the player.
