Former Manager Confirms 2face’s Arrest in London After Airport Dispute With Pregnant Wife
Kaka Igbokwe, a former manager of music veteran Innocent 2face Idibia, has confirmed that the singer was arrested in London following a confrontation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.
The couple had travelled to the United Kingdom for a concert tour, but 2face failed to appear for a scheduled performance on October 2, 2025. His absence stirred speculation online, with rumours suggesting that the singer had been detained after a dispute with Natasha, who is a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session hosted by broadcaster Daddy Freeze on Monday night, Kaka said the reports circulating on social media were accurate. He explained that he was on the same flight with the couple and witnessed the incident firsthand.
According to him, the disagreement began shortly after their arrival at the airport. Natasha reportedly felt abandoned when 2face walked ahead with fans who led him into a nearby shop, leaving her behind. Realising she was upset, the singer rushed back to her, but the argument escalated, drawing the attention of airport authorities.
Kaka said the exchange resulted in the police intervening and taking 2face into custody, where he was briefly handcuffed.
A video showing the singer being escorted by officers, first posted by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, has since reignited public discussion about the incident.
