Ferdinand Questions Arsenal Snub of Kudus, Says Forward Suits Gunners Better Than Madueke

Former West Ham United defender Anton Ferdinand has voiced his astonishment at Arsenal’s decision not to sign Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus, who has instead joined their North London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.
Ferdinand believes Kudus would have been a far better fit for Arsenal’s attacking setup than Chelsea’s Noni Madueke, whose transfer to the Emirates Stadium is reportedly in its final stages.
According to The Athletic, all necessary documents have been signed between Arsenal and Chelsea, finalizing Madueke’s move on a five-year contract.
Meanwhile, Tottenham have completed the signing of Kudus, a player Ferdinand feels would have thrived under Mikel Arteta’s system.
Speaking on GMS’ Market Madness podcast, Ferdinand said, “He’d be on fire in the Arsenal team. I think he does better in that Arsenal team than Madueke and players like that.”
Madueke, who has made close to 100 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, has registered 20 goals and nine assists so far in his career.
