DJ Cuppy Says Life Feels Lighter After Letting Go of Manchester United
The Nigerian DJ reveals she’s happier since distancing herself from football stress, especially after Manchester United’s Carabao Cup exit.

Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has admitted that her life has become much easier since she stopped stressing over Manchester United’s performances.
The billionaire heiress and music star shared her thoughts on Wednesday night after Manchester United’s shock elimination from the Carabao Cup by Grimsby Town, a fourth-tier English side.
Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, DJ Cuppy wrote:
“See as I just come fresh since I stopped watching football and stressing over Man Utd.”
Her comment sparked reactions from fans who recalled her once-vocal support for the Red Devils.
Cuppy, who previously ditched Arsenal for Manchester United due to the Gunners’ poor form, has gradually stepped back from her football allegiance as United’s struggles deepened in recent seasons.
While many supporters continue to express frustration at the team’s inconsistency, the entertainer seems to have found relief in channeling her energy elsewhere.
