Davido Sells Out 12 North American Venues on ‘5 Alive’ Tour, Celebrates with Powerful Message of Faith

Afrobeats icon Davido wraps up record-breaking U.S. and Canada leg with millions in revenue and an emotional tribute to perseverance

Global Afrobeats sensation Davido has hit a new milestone on his 5ive Alive Tour, selling out 12 major venues across North America, from the U.S. to Canada.

Following an electrifying performance at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland, the Nigerian superstar celebrated the tour’s success, cutting a cake onstage and delivering a heartfelt message of gratitude and faith.

“We did it. We sold out every night and made millions of dollars,” Davido said. “If you dream it, it’s possible. With God, everything is possible. With all the odds against me, we made it happen.”

The 5 Alive Tour has placed Davido among the few Nigerian artists to perform at Canada’s renowned Scotiabank Arena, a venue that seats 19,000 people. The historic feat cements his status as one of Afrobeats’ most bankable global artists.

Backed by musical director Cobhams Asuquo, the tour has featured a strong supporting cast, including street-hop rapper Odumodublvck, soulful Afrobeats singer Victony, and rising star Moravvey. Each act brought their own flavor to the stage, making the tour a dynamic celebration of African music’s expanding global influence.

The grand finale is set for November 20 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, where Davido will close out the tour with his annual AWAY (Are We African Yet?) concert, a celebration of African talent and diaspora culture.

The 5ive Alive Tour has been hailed as a testament to Davido’s global reach, artistry, and resilience, a powerful comeback following years of personal and professional highs and lows.

Fans, critics, and fellow artists have taken to social media to applaud the tour’s impact, further solidifying Davido’s place at the top of the Afrobeats movement.
