Cubana Chief Priest Denied US Visa, to Miss Davido’s Wedding
The celebrity barman says he is “hurt and disappointed” over missing his best friend’s big day, appeals to US consulate for help.

Popular Nigerian socialite and businessman, Cubana Chief Priest, has revealed he will not be attending the highly anticipated wedding of Afrobeats star Davido due to a US visa denial.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, the nightlife entrepreneur expressed sadness over missing what he described as his best friend’s special day. He said he woke up with “mixed feelings,” knowing he would not be present at the event.
“I appreciate the bashing, because that has given me multiple reasons and proof to apply again,” he wrote, tagging the official Instagram handle of the US Mission in Nigeria (@usinnigeria). “Do it for me this time. You can clearly see how disappointed and hurt the world is to see me absent at my best friend’s wedding.”
The celebrity barman also used the opportunity to send well-wishes to Davido and his wife, Chioma Rowland. “I’m wishing my best friend @davido & his beautiful wife @thechefchi an amazing wedlock,” he added.
Davido’s wedding to Chioma has been one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the year, attracting global attention and a guest list of prominent figures.
