Chelsea Reject Bayern’s Loan Bid for Nkunku, Insist on Permanent Deal

Chelsea have rejected a loan proposal from Bayern Munich for French forward Christopher Nkunku, signaling their preference for a permanent transfer solution this summer.
As reported by Sky Sports, the West London Premier League side is not open to a temporary move and will only consider offers that lead to a full transfer.
Nkunku does not figure in new head coach Enzo Maresca’s strategic plans for the upcoming campaign.
The 27-year-old was notably absent from the matchday squad in Chelsea’s goalless Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The French international has drawn interest from several clubs during this transfer window, with Bayern Munich among the suitors.
Despite the Bundesliga champions’ pursuit, Chelsea have opted not to loan him out and are instead holding out for a permanent departure.
Nkunku has prior experience in the Bundesliga, having impressed during his time with Bayern’s domestic rivals RB Leipzig, where he scored 33 goals in 34 league matches during his final season before joining Chelsea.
