Chef Dammy Graduates with Professional Culinary Diploma from Lagos Hospitality School

Nigerian chef Damilola Adeparusi, widely known as Chef Dammy, has officially graduated with a Professional Culinary Art Chef diploma from the Hospitality Business School (HBS) in Lagos.

The Ekiti-born chef completed the programme on a full scholarship funded by Horecabb Mentors, Ofadaboy, and the Ekiti State government, an initiative aimed at advancing her culinary journey after her headline-making cook-a-thon attempt in June 2023.

Celebrating the milestone on Instagram, Chef Dammy expressed deep gratitude to the institution and those who supported her training. She described the experience as an opportunity to learn from one of the leading hospitality schools in the region.

“It’s safe to say Chef Dammy is officially a professional chef,” she wrote. She credited “the grace of God and the favor of men” for bringing her this far, extending appreciation to HBS, her sponsors, supporters, and the Nigerian government.

The scholarship package also includes five additional courses designed to equip participants with wider hospitality and culinary skills, further strengthening her professional foundation.

Chef Dammy’s latest accomplishment has generated congratulatory messages from fans and well-wishers who have followed her rise in the food industry.
