CBEX Fraud Investigation: EFCC Adds Two More Suspects to Wanted List

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has intensified its crackdown on the N1 billion Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX) cryptocurrency fraud by declaring two additional suspects wanted.

Folashade Odelana and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun, linked to the illicit platform, are now among the ten individuals sought by authorities, with their last known address at 17 Oremeta Street, Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos.

The EFCC has called on the public to assist in locating the suspects by reporting any information to its offices nationwide.

This latest move follows an earlier declaration of eight wanted suspects and the issuance of arrest warrants for six individuals implicated in the scam.

The CBEX fraud, which surfaced in April 2025, has left numerous Nigerians grappling with substantial financial losses.

EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede reassured victims that the commission is making significant strides in its investigation, with several arrests made and a considerable amount of funds recovered.

He emphasized the commission’s commitment to delivering justice and restoring stolen assets, urging the public’s continued cooperation to bring all perpetrators to account.

This update marks a crucial phase in Nigeria’s ongoing fight against cryptocurrency fraud, signaling that no stone will be left unturned in safeguarding citizens’ investments and ensuring accountability.
