CAF Names Ejike Uzoenyi Among CHAN All-Time Greats

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named former Super Eagles winger Ejike Uzoenyi among the greatest players to have ever featured in the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Uzoenyi made a significant impact during the 2014 edition of the tournament in South Africa, where he helped Nigeria secure a bronze medal.
Renowned for his explosive pace and precise crosses from the left flank, the former Enugu Rangers star stood out throughout the competition and was ultimately named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
His outstanding performances at CHAN 2014 earned him a spot in Nigeria’s squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Uzoenyi also played a key role in Nigeria’s triumph at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, also held in South Africa.
