The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced a comprehensive review of its service fees, with the new rates scheduled to take effect from August 1, 2025.
According to a public notice issued by the Commission on Tuesday, the fee adjustment follows a detailed evaluation of prevailing economic conditions, operational costs, and extensive consultations with stakeholders across the corporate sector.
“The Commission wishes to inform the General Public, Esteemed Customers, and all Stakeholders that in the continued efforts to improve its service quality and delivery, it has become necessary to review certain service fees effective the 1st day of August 2025,” the statement read.
The CAC explained that the revised fee structure is intended to support its ongoing digital transformation agenda, improve service delivery, and ensure sustainability in the face of rising operational demands.
“The review is modest, competitive and aligns with our commitment to enhance service delivery through digitalised operations and maintain the integrity of the Nigerian Corporate Registry,” the Commission stated.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparency, accountability, and customer satisfaction, the CAC said the fee adjustment would enhance efficiency and responsiveness within the corporate regulatory environment.
The Commission noted that the new structure will impact a wide range of users, including business owners, legal practitioners, compliance officers, and other stakeholders involved in post-incorporation filings and regulatory services.
