Bobrisky Blasts Nigerian Senators for Silence on Benue Killings

Controversial Nigerian media personality and crossdresser, Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, has publicly criticized Nigerian lawmakers for their silence over the recent massacre in Benue State.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Monday, Bobrisky expressed outrage over the National Assembly’s perceived inaction, noting the stark contrast between their swift attention to his legal issues and their lack of urgency in addressing the mass killings.
“Senators and House of Reps members didn’t call an urgent meeting over the killings in Benue,” he wrote.
“But they could hold one immediately over Bobrisky. Shame! Shame!!! What a shameful country.”
Bobrisky’s comments refer to his widely publicized 2024 legal case, in which he was prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly abusing the Naira. Although he was found guilty, reports later suggested he did not serve time in prison—sparking fresh controversy.
His latest remarks have reignited online debates around government priorities, justice, and accountability in the face of ongoing violence in parts of Nigeria.
