Benue Killings: “Tinubu Has Failed Us” – Comedian Koboko Leads Protest

Popular comedian and content creator, Koboko, has openly criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that the president has failed Nigerians in his duty to protect lives and property, especially in light of the recent killings in Benue State.

In a bold act of protest, Koboko and his content team took to the streets despite heavy rainfall, marching to raise awareness about the ongoing violence in the state. The group carried placards bearing powerful messages such as: “Benue Is Bleeding,” “Is Benue Not Part of Nigeria?” “#StopBenueKillings,” and “May Tinubu Not Happen to Us in 2027.”

Sharing images from the protest on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, Koboko wrote:

“Tinubu has failed us.”

He further urged Nigerians to hold the government accountable and to reject President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, citing the administration’s failure to address the rising insecurity in the country, particularly in Benue.

The protest comes amid growing public outcry over the state of insecurity in Nigeria, with many citizens demanding urgent action and justice for victims of violence.
