Nigeria Women Football League champions Bayelsa Queens are set to face Sunshine Queens in a pre-season friendly ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
The fixture will take place at Adeyemi Federal University of Education in Ondo City, with kick-off scheduled for 4 p.m. today (Thursday).
Bayelsa Queens have strengthened their squad by signing four new players in preparation for the upcoming season.
While Bayelsa Queens prepare to compete in the CAF Women’s Champions League next season, Sunshine Queens are set to make their return to the top tier of Nigerian women’s football.
The Yenagoa-based side secured the league title in the previous season.
