Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr delivered a memorable performance on Sunday night as she took the stage with British rock band Coldplay during their Music of the Spheres world tour stop at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
The Mavin Records artist was a surprise guest, joining the Grammy-winning band midway through their set. The crowd erupted when football icon Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo were spotted in the audience, their appearance projected on the stadium’s big screen to loud cheers.
Ayra Starr, 21, performed her latest single “Hot Body” alongside Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and also delivered their collaborative track “Good Feelings,” which has been gaining momentum since its release.
Taking to social media after the show, Ayra couldn’t hide her excitement:
“I just performed Hot Body on stage with Coldplay!! And Messi was in the audience,” she posted, sharing the surreal moment with fans.
