Alleged Rape: Speed Darlington Refuses to Surrender, Challenges NAPTIP After Being Declared Wanted [VIDEO]

Controversial singer Speed Darlington has boldly responded after the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) declared him wanted over allegations of rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.

According to DAILY POST, the singer was declared wanted following his failure to appear for questioning after publicly admitting in a viral Instagram video that he slept with a 15-year-old girl.

In a new video shared on Instagram on Monday, Speed Darlington vowed not to submit to NAPTIP’s interrogation, daring the agency to produce evidence of any wrongdoing. He also threatened legal action for defamation.

Addressing NAPTIP directly, he said:
“NAPTIP, listen up. All this ‘wanted’ notice you posted everywhere — take it down. I’m not coming. Did you hear me? I’m not coming.”

“I have committed no crime. I simply spoke my mind. Irresponsible talk isn’t a crime. Where is your evidence? Who filed a complaint? You’re just trying to gain social media clout by chasing me. Summoning a celebrity and expecting compliance won’t work.”

“I was born here too, and I know the psychological game you’re playing with my name. I charge 2.5 million naira for appearances. So if you want me to show up, you’ll pay me that amount plus round-trip tickets for me and my PA — because I consider your summon an ‘appearance.’ You have no evidence, no case. All I did was try to trend. Coming there would waste my time.”

“You’re only reacting because people tagged you to pursue me, trying to appear effective. Going after me for simply speaking? What cyberstalking? Who did I stalk? Did I name anyone in that video?”

“Yes, I slept with a 15-year-old girl — is that a crime? Where is the proof? Remove me from your list. Honestly, I will sue you for defamation and ruining my reputation with no evidence.”
