Ahmed Musa Returns to Boost Kano Pillars Ahead of Rangers Clash

Kano Pillars have received a timely boost with captain Ahmed Musa resuming full training after shaking off a minor injury.

The veteran forward picked up a knock on matchday two against Wikki Tourists, which sidelined him for last weekend’s North-West derby where Pillars fell 1-0 to Katsina United.

His comeback is a major relief for the Sai Masu Gida, who are still without a victory this season, having earned only one point from their opening three fixtures.

Head coach Evans Ogenyi is expected to rely on Musa’s experience and leadership to lift the squad when they host Rangers International at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
