Ahmed Musa Listed as Kano Pillars Begin Pre-Season for 2025/2026 NPFL Campaign

Kano Pillars has officially named Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, among the players set to feature for the club in the upcoming 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

According to a statement released by the club’s Media and Communications Directorate, Kano Pillars will commence pre-season training today, June 30, marking the end of a one-month break that followed the conclusion of the 2024/2025 season.

In addition to Ahmed Musa, several prominent players are expected to report for the first training session. These include Raibu Ali “Pele”, Muttaka Musa, Abdullahi Abubakar, Fahad Usman, Dawud Ibrahim, Abdullahi Ali, Yusuf Bala Maigoro, Naziru Auwalu Ibrahim, Aminu Adam Sani, Habibu Yakubu, Mustapha Umar, and Ibrahim Sani Halliru.

The club has also confirmed that four players—Jibrin Yusuf, Aminu Muhammed, Mustapha Muhammed, and Muhammad Usman—from the Kano Pillars Feeders and academy system will be promoted to the senior squad for the new season.
