Abuja Musical Concert: Young Russian Musicians Perform Towards Mutual Trust & Understanding
A captivating classical music concert featuring talented young Russian musicians took place on March 20 in Abuja, as part of the Rising Stars project.
The event, hosted at a premier venue in the Nigerian capital, showcased the exceptional abilities of students from the prestigious Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, including soprano M. Modeme, flutist M. Sokolova, and pianist E. Saakian.
The concert attracted over 250 attendees, who received a warm welcome from the Russian Ambassador to Nigeria, Andrey Podelyshev.
In his opening remarks, the ambassador emphasized the unifying power of music, noting how it fosters trust and mutual understanding among diverse cultures.
The concert served not only as a celebration of youthful artistry but also as a testament to the power of cultural exchange through music.
