Nigeria’s Francisca Ordega has been crowned the Saudi Women’s Premier League Player of the Month for March, following a string of standout performances for Al-Ittihad Ladies.
The Super Falcons winger edged out fellow Nigerian Ashleigh Plumptre and Congo’s Naomie Kabakaba to claim the individual honour. Ordega dominated the fan vote with an impressive 62%, while Plumptre and Kabakaba each garnered 16%.
The 31-year-old was in sensational form throughout March, netting four goals and providing three assists in just three league appearances. Her contributions helped Al-Ittihad secure two wins from three matches during the month.
Ordega, who joined Al-Ittihad on a free transfer at the beginning of the season, has quickly become a key figure in the team’s attacking setup.
