In a landmark visit, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, has arrived in Gusau, the heart of Zamfara State, for a pivotal one-day operational tour of the 207 Quick Response Group (QRG) Headquarters.
This marks his inaugural visit to the state since his appointment as the Chief of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).
Upon arrival, Air Marshal Abubakar was warmly received by top military officials, including Major General Oluyinka Soyele, Theatre Commander of Operation Fansan Yamma, before inspecting a distinguished quarter guard mounted by the dedicated troops of the 207 QRG.
During his visit, Air Marshal Abubakar is set to meet with Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, at the Government House, as the state remains at the forefront of national efforts to combat criminal activity and restore peace in the region.
His visit arrives at a critical juncture, reinforcing the Nigerian Air Force’s commitment to securing the safety and stability of the area.
