VeryDarkMan Claims IVD Introduced Blessing CEO to Drugs, Says He’ll Help Secure Her Release

Nigerian social media critic VeryDarkMan has alleged that Lagos-based automobile dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, introduced relationship influencer Blessing CEO to drug use.

VeryDarkMan made the allegation in a video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday while announcing his intention to assist in securing Blessing CEO’s release from custody.

Blessing CEO is currently facing legal proceedings over allegations involving ₦69.15 million in property fraud and a separate case in which she was accused of obtaining ₦36 million from members of the public through false claims of having stage four cancer.

She was granted ₦10 million bail in the alleged ₦36 million scam case and ₦20 million bail in the property fraud case in July 2026.

However, controversy later emerged over the circumstances surrounding her continued detention despite the reported bail conditions.

The issue gained further attention after actress Doris Ogala questioned why Blessing CEO had allegedly remained in custody, particularly following reports of the death of her second son after an asthma attack.

VeryDarkMan makes fresh allegations

In his latest video, VeryDarkMan said information he recently obtained had changed his view of Blessing CEO and prompted him to become more involved in efforts to secure her release.

He alleged that Blessing CEO and IVD had struggled with drug addiction and claimed that the auto dealer introduced her to drugs.

According to him, the alleged drug use eventually led Blessing CEO to sell some of her properties and vehicles to fund the habit.

VeryDarkMan further alleged that, after she ran out of money, she resorted to soliciting funds from members of the public through what he described as a false cancer claim.

He also claimed that money paid to Blessing CEO for advertisements was allegedly diverted towards purchasing drugs.

The social media critic said his decision to support her release was based on what he described as his recent discoveries about her situation.

He also urged members of the public not to give her money immediately after her release, arguing that she should first undergo rehabilitation.

VeryDarkMan said he had consulted some of his associates about the matter and remained committed to helping secure Blessing CEO’s release.

He added that efforts were already being made to address what he described as the outstanding issues surrounding her bail.
