Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has made two adjustments to his squad ahead of Nigeria’s international friendly against Russia next Tuesday.
France-based midfielder John Otomewo and defender Vince Osuji have been brought in to replace captain Wilfred Ndidi and Akpe Victory.
Otomewo joined French Ligue 2 club Stade de Reims during the summer after leaving Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Jerusalem.
Osuji, meanwhile, currently features for Norwegian club Tromsø and could make his senior international debut against Russia.
The two players will be looking to earn their first caps when the Super Eagles face Russia at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.
Nigeria and Russia last met in June 2025, playing out a 1-1 draw at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium.
