Obidient Movement names Moses Paul new national coordinator

The Obidient Movement has appointed Moses Paul to lead its national coordination, succeeding Yunusa Tanko.

The appointment was announced in a statement issued in Abuja by Onyeka Dike of the movement’s Media and Communications Directorate.

Tanko, who served as national coordinator for three years, has been reassigned as Special Adviser to Peter Obi on Northern Nigeria.

He said his tenure focused on strengthening the movement’s organisational structure, including the establishment of a National Advisory Council and coordination offices across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Tanko also highlighted the development of grassroots structures across the country and an online mobilisation and recruitment platform.

Paul pledged to build on the existing structures, describing the Obidient Movement as a citizens’ movement and seeking the support and cooperation of members and supporters.
